FAQs

What is MCC Insights?

MCC Insights is a digital marketing consultancy that was founded by two brothers in Carmel, IN. After graduating from Purdue University, we discovered our passion for good business and strong customer service and thought “what better place to do that than our hometown.”

What is UX?

UX stands for user experience, which is the art of designing something in a way that is comfortable and intuitive to the end user. Online users may interact with many forms of media; in the case of our customers, it is critical to design a website that points the users to exactly where they want to go. The navigation tab, links, and buttons, should all be designed so that the user can spend time buying your product or engaging with your content and not on questions like “How do I buy this?” or “Where would I find that?

What is SEO?

SEO stands for search engine optimization. SEO is the process of tuning a website in order to increase the site’s ability to rank higher in on a search engine results page (SERP). 53% of all web traffic originates from a search engine like Google, Bing, or Yahoo. It is critical for your customers to be able to find your site when searching for it, otherwise, they will be guided to other sites to do their shopping. Google.com is the most visited website in the world. If you want to increase the traffic on your site, you must optimize it in a way that allows Google (and other search engines) to connect you with its users.

How much does it cost to build a website?

It depends… Not the answer you were looking for? How about this: websites can range in price from $439 to over $100k per year depending on the specifications. If you need to keep costs below $30/month, you will likely need to build a site by yourself. Squarespace, Wix, and Shopify are all popular choices. Otherwise, hiring a design team can allow you to spend less time on websites and more time running your business.

How important is my online presence?

The internet is the modern town square, market, social spot and more. If you want to engage with the market that you serve, it is critical to build an online presence. It is hard to imagine a transaction in which a new customer did not, at some point in their journey, interact with your business online. What they find when they search for your website or online profile is often their true “first impression” of your business. The impression that your online presence leaves on your customers will have many ramifications for your business including brand perception and the customers’ overall willingness to pay for your products and services.

Many people do build websites on their own and can be successful in doing so. However, learning to interact with a website builder and get the results you desire can come with a steep learning curve. We are here for those who want to spend more time running their business and less time climbing that learning curve.
